China National Heavy Duty Truck Group achieved revenue of US$22.89 billion from January to September.

On 18 October, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC) convened its 2025 Global Partner Conference at the Qingdao International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Data released during the event revealed that from January to September, CNHTC achieved consolidated revenue of US$22.89 billion and sold 335,000 complete vehicles. Since the start of 2025, confronting a complex and volatile international landscape alongside intensifying industry competition, Sinotruk has advanced hand-in-hand with its global partners to jointly achieve the remarkable feat of leading the world in heavy-duty truck production and sales. At the event, Liu Zhengtao, Chairman of Sinotruk Group, stated that from January to September, the Group realised consolidated revenue of US$22.89 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 14.9%. with total vehicle sales reaching 335,000 units, a 22.8% year-on-year increase. Heavy-duty truck exports accounted for 111,000 units, rising 24.5% year-on-year. Notably, September saw Sinotruk’s heavy-duty truck exports surpass 15,000 units for the first time, setting a new monthly export record for China’s heavy-duty truck sector. Annual heavy-duty truck exports are projected to exceed 150,000 units, further cementing Sinotruk’s position as the global leader in heavy-duty truck exports.

Having claimed the top spot in China’s heavy-duty truck sales in 2022, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group is now poised to surpass international commercial vehicle giants in both production and sales by 2025 through sustained domestic and international expansion. This will establish the company as the world leader, carving out new territories for Chinese heavy-duty trucks across the globe.

According to its strategic roadmap, over the next five years, SCMC will position ‘international transformation’ as its core development pillar, leveraging global market insights. By 2030, the company aims to export 250,000 heavy-duty trucks, 100,000 light-duty trucks, 50,000 light commercial vehicles, and 3,000 mining trucks, with overseas aftermarket revenue targeting US$1 billion. To ensure these objectives are met, Sinotruk will expand its full range of commercial vehicle operations, forge closer global partnerships, and collaborate with associates to deepen engagement in aftermarket services and vehicle lifecycle management. This approach aims to achieve mutual success across the entire value chain.
